The SOL building brings together several departments and units in the academic discipline of humanities. Here you can meet students and researchers from the Centre for Languages and Literature, the Department of Communication and Media and the Humanities Lab which is an interdisciplinary research technology and training facility. You can also find the following support units: The International Office, the Employment forum as well as the Student Union for Humanities and Theology (HTS).
SOL Opening hours
Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
The entrances are open Monday to Friday 6:30 am -10:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for HT-students and Department of Communication and Media students holding a LU-card.
During Sundays and public holidays the entrances are either closed or subjected to flexible opening hours.

The closest entrance is always open if there are any planned acitivies in the building.

April 18: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
April 19-22: Closed
During the Easter-holiday the building is closed for HT-students and Department of Communication and Media students.
The reception is located in the atrium of the SOL building.
