Media and Communication ranks high on the Time Higher Education ranking

Media and communication placed on place 60 in the world

This annual publication of university rankings is published by the Times Higher Education (THE) magazine. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings were established in 2004 and is considered to be one of the most widely observed university rankings for quality standards in higher education.

The rankings are made on a mixture of importance of international students, high quality academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.

“This achievement supports our current idea of growing research from below through a dynamic postgraduate programme that uses research led teaching to develop critical thinking on media, culture and democracy. Keeping our world class standard is murderous, but worth it!" says Professor Annette Hill, director of the MSc in Media and Communication Studies."
