Student

The Department of Media and Communication in Lund is a meeting place for prospective journalists, communicators, rhetoricians and media historians.

Most of our courses are offered only in Swedish, but we also offer some courses taught in English at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. You are very welcome to contact us for further information!

Applying for courses and programmes can be done at www.universityadmissions.se.

At the Course Library you can find information specific to your course, such as schedules, course literature lists, and syllabi.

Credit transfer

If you have taken one or more courses at a different university you have the right to ask for a credit transfer. Most of these are done when you apply for your final degree certificate, but in some cases you might have to transfer your credits sooner. Contact the academic advisors if you have questions about credit transfers. It's always best to check with us if you even need one. If you do, use this form to apply for a credit transfer. Read more about credits transfers at the Social Sciences Faculty website.

Complaints about your education

If you do have complaints? The faculty of social sciences together with the student union has developed a document to guide you through the process.

Please also take a look at the website of the Swedish higher education authority for guidance about complaints .
