Course
Course 7.5 credits • RETN05
Rhetoric is an old subject, so is the teaching of rhetoric. From one point of view rhetoric as a subject emerged from a wish to learn how to communicate constructively. From antiquity and onwards, rhetoricians have developed tools to enable us to reflect upon what happens in the learning process. More specifically, the course is concerned with how our linguistic choices interact with our learning. Students will deepen and problematize both their practical and theoretical understanding of how we learn.
